YOUR COACH · 15 YEARS AS A PT
Meet your coach. Mandla, 59.
I’m Mandla Mashengele, 59, and founder of mash23fitness. I started training at a gym when I was 17. Training has been part of my own life for over 40 years, and I have worked as a personal trainer for 15 years. My PT training was with PT School. Today I focus on women and men over 40 who want to get stronger, work on their weight and find habits they can keep using.
For me, training is about quality of life. What would you like more energy for? What would you like to make time for yourself? That might mean feeling stronger, feeling more comfortable in your body or having energy for family, children and grandchildren. Your training matters even when your goals are different from someone else’s.
I want to understand your everyday life before building your plan. What have you tried? What tends to work? What gets difficult when work, family or motivation changes? Those answers help us find an individual approach to training and nutrition, with personal follow-up along the way.

My own long-standing training practice

A plan — and support putting it into practice.
My role goes beyond handing you a training program. I help you understand the approach, follow your progress and work through the questions that arise as you use it. We work with training, nutrition, action and follow-up: the plan needs to become something you do in everyday life.
In your weekly check-in, you share how things went. You receive personal feedback and we adjust when needed. You can ask questions between check-ins during normal working days. HubFit brings together the program, nutrition approach and follow-up, while I provide the coaching.
The aim is also for you to learn along the way. What works for you? How can your routines adapt when the week changes? You don’t have to make every week perfect. We build understanding and structure that you can take forward. Results differ between people; your approach begins with you.

Yes. Mandla’s coaching is for women and men over 40, including those in their 50s and 60s. You don’t need previous training experience or to return to the level you had twenty years ago.
Your experience, goal and circumstances today shape the approach. If your health creates limitations, suitable exercise needs to be assessed with support from healthcare.
No. You’re looking for support to get started, so an established routine isn’t a requirement. Share what you want to change and what feels difficult, such as understanding a program or making time for training. I review your circumstances before preparing your program.
Weekly check-ins and personal feedback are included, with an individual check-in and feedback day. You review progress, discuss difficulties and adjust when needed.
You can also ask questions between check-ins during normal working days. I provide the coaching; this doesn’t mean around-the-clock availability or an automatic new program every week.
Yes. I provide the personal coaching and feedback. HubFit is used for programs, nutrition, check-ins and progress tracking. You receive a digital structure together with support from your coach.
I call you for a short, free conversation about your goals and the support you want.
If coaching feels like a good fit, you complete a more detailed questionnaire. This helps me understand your goals, habits and circumstances so I can tailor training and nutrition to you. We then choose the next step together.
